Lilja by Lisa Bauer, is a friendly and soft serif typeface inspired by various calligraphic experiments. The initial sketch was based on italic handwriting constructions. The Roman mirrors its origins through a slight slant and certain italic details. The starting point for the project was a fascination with old books, the typography they contain.
It includes both Roman and Italic styles. It comes in two regular weights, allowing the typeface to be used comfortably at different text sizes. The typeface also includes a display style designed for book covers, offering various decorative options.
